Are you a WMU student interested in gaining hands-on research experience in microbiology? Our laboratory is recruiting motivated undergraduate students to join an NIH-funded research project focused on the bacterial pathogen that causes dysentery.

Students will work directly in a research lab environment, gaining experience in microbiological techniques, experimental design, and data analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering graduate or professional school in the biological sciences.

Position details:

• Paid position: $14/hour, to start this spring or summer

• Open to undergraduate students (any year) with an interest in microbiology, infectious disease, or related fields

• Training and mentorship provided
